Job summary

KidStrong Katy center seeks an experienced General Manager to lead operations, coach development, and member engagement. You will manage KPIs, staffing, and events, ensuring an exceptional experience for kids and families while driving sales performance.

You will foster a coaching culture, recruit and train staff, and collaborate with HQ on program delivery and compliance. The role requires strong leadership and attention to detail in a busy children’s center.

Qualifications

• Athletic/coaching background with kids 15 months - 11 years old.
• Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification.
• Training via LearnUpon as required by HQ Training.
• Comfortable communicating with parents/guardians.
• Management experience required.
• Experience with Google/Microsoft platforms.
• Familiarity with systems such as ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP, FranConnect.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Understand center KPIs and financials to guide decisions.
• Build relationships with families and provide exceptional customer service.
• Oversee center initiatives: maintenance, training, brand consistency.
• Schedule coaching staff and manage shift coverage.
• Promote and sell KidStrong events to boost center profitability.
• Lead coaching candidates through training and evaluations.
• Conduct weekly leadership meetings; support staff development.
