Job summary

KidStrong Texas seeks a General Manager for our Katy center to lead coaching staff, foster a culture of learning, and drive sales and member retention. You will develop coaching teams, build relationships with families, and deliver exceptional experiences for kids, families, and staff.

As GM, you will recruit and train coaches, maintain center standards, and manage operations to support growth, profitability, and brand integrity across the center.

Qualifications

• Athletic/coaching background with kids aged 15 months to 11 years.
• Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete training via LearnUpon as required by HQ Training and Certification team.
• Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians about topics.
• Prior management experience required.
• Experience with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Familiarity with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP, FranConnect preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand center KPIs and financials to make informed decisions.
• Build relationships with KidStrong families and provide exceptional customer service.
• Oversee center initiatives like maintenance, training, brand consistency.
• Maintain daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and task delegation.
• Manage center-level employee issues and documentation.
• Schedule, promote, and sell KidStrong events to maximize profitability.
• Lead center team meetings and coach development discussions.
• Ensure coaching staff meet program requirements and evaluations.
