Job summary

Skilz for Kids in Katy seeks a General Manager to lead and grow the KidStrong program at our Katy center. You will guide coaches, develop families, and drive business results through staff development, scheduling, and event promotion.

You will manage center operations, sales, and leadership initiatives while maintaining a culture of safety and high standards. The role combines people leadership with hands-on coaching oversight and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Athletic and/or coaching background with experience working with or coaching kids aged 15 months to 11 years; passion for working with children is essential.
• Proven experience in people management and coaching staff.
• Proficiency with Google and Microsoft platforms; comfortable with CRM and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center’s key KPIs and financials to inform business decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with families and provide exceptional customer service.
• Oversee center initiatives such as maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Delegate tasks and manage center-level scheduling and coaching assignments.
• Schedule, promote, and sell events to maximize center profitability.
• Lead coaching candidates through training and evaluations.
• Monitor staff performance and conduct regular reviews.
