Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct client care in 1:1 and small group settings. You will follow treatment plans, collect data, and assist with parent training in a center-based ABA program in Plano, TX.

The position requires an RBT certification, 18+ years of age, reliable transportation, and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB testing. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification with BACB.
• Willing to participate in the company's background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain a tuberculosis TB test annually.
• Must be able to physically perform this job, including lifting up to 50lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to record data on a mobile device and navigate digital apps.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency with flexibility and open-mindedness.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in the client's individualized treatment plan built by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with the client's individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and following established procedures.
• Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Utilize safe and appropriate procedures when working with clients and report all critical incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials, behavior reduction assessments, and skills acquisition.
