Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician for in-center ABA therapy in Allen, TX. You’ll deliver 1:1 and small-group sessions, implement prescribed protocols, and collect data under BCBA supervision.

Candidates must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification, pass a background check, and have reliable transportation. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, and a structured pay plan with supervision hour opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain RBT certification or complete a 40-hour training and sit for the competency exam within 45 days.
• Must be willing to participate in background checks.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to undergo TB testing annually.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Proficient with recording data on mobile devices and using digital apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication; culturally competent and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow treatment plans created by BCBA/BC and document progress data.
• Collect, record, and summarize observable client behavior data.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation following established procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed by supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
