Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, offers center-based ABA therapy for young children with autism. This full-time RBT role focuses on one-on-one and small-group sessions, data collection, and collaboration with BCBA/BC to implement individualized treatment plans.

We seek dedicated individuals who hold RBT certification, can pass a background check, and are able to obtain CPR/First Aid. Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for supervision hours are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification issued by BACB.
• Must be willing to participate in the company’s background check process.
• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain a tuberculosis (TB) test annually.
• Must be able to physically perform this job, including getting down on the floor and lifting up to 50lbs.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to do repetitive tasks precisely.
• Ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions.
• Strong understanding of technology to record data on a mobile device and navigate digital applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency with the ability to remain flexible and open-minded.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols from client plans by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and per procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Report all critical incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
