Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support children in our center-based ABA program. You will provide direct client care in 1:1 and small-group settings, implement prescribed protocols, and collect data to track progress.

The role requires RBT certification, a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and a willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid; physical ability to work with children and strong communication skills are

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB).
• Willing to participate in the company’s background check.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to complete TB test annually.
• Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 50lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and technology to record data.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and NAT.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill protocols outlined in treatment plans built by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation following established procedures.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials and assessments.
