Opal Autism Centers is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver high-quality, compassionate ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. The role emphasizes data collection, family communication, and active engagement with children with autism in a center-based setting at our Meridian location.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or BACB 40-hour RBT training completion or BT in ABA experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before start date.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team.
• Interest in ongoing professional development and training.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development.
• Communicate with families about their child’s progress and strategies.
• Assist in developing educational materials and resources.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis.
