Job summary

Opal Autism Centers in Eagle, Idaho is seeking a Behavior Technician in Training (RBT in Training). You will start with paid, structured training and advance to a certified RBT while gaining hands-on experience supporting children with autism in a center-based setting.

You will be mentored by BCBA supervisors and participate in comprehensive training, with a competitive pay structure, a $1,000 bonus, and tuition-discount opportunities as part of a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to complete RBT training and certification.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before start date.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and complete the 40-hour RBT training program.
• Shadow and assist RBTs and BCBAs in implementing treatment plans.
• Collect and record electronic data on client behaviors and progress.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to facilitate learning and growth.
• Communicate with families about daily progress.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions to learn ABA principles.
