Job summary

Opal Autism Centers is hiring a Behavior Technician in Training for a full-time, on-site role at our Meridian center. You will begin with structured RBT training at a paid rate and progress to client sessions under supervision from BCBAs.

The position emphasizes hands-on ABA learning, data collection, family communication, and ongoing professional development in a supportive clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to complete the RBT training program and attain certification.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before start date.
• Pass background check and uphold BACB ethics.

Responsibilities

• Complete 40-hour RBT training to develop behavior analysis knowledge.
• Shadow and assist RBTs and BCBAs with treatment plans.
• Record electronic data on client behaviors and progress.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to aid learning and growth.
• Communicate progress with families and attend team trainings.
