Job summary

Opal Autism Centers is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our center-based program in Meridian, Idaho. The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision, collecting data, and engaging with children and families to support learning and progress.

The position is full-time with on-site work, competitive pay, and a $1,000 bonus. We emphasize professional development and ongoing training to advance ABA therapy delivery.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or completion of a BACB-approved 40-hour training.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs is preferred.
• Ability to obtain CPR certification before start date.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development.
• Communicate with families about progress and strategies.
• Assist in developing educational materials and resources.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis.
