Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for our Life Skills Autism Academy in Maryland. In this center-based role, you will provide direct 1:1 and small-group instruction under BCBA supervision, implement treatment plans, and collect data to monitor progress.

You will support families through training and communication, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely. The position requires an RBT certification, reliability, and physical stamina for child-focused activities.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification per BACB guidelines.
• Willing to participate in company background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation and be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings.
• Follow treatment plans created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of progress.
• Communicate with parents/caregivers about client progress as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized therapy environments.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials and assessments.
