Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 and small-group setting under the supervision of a BCBA/BC. The role emphasizes developing language, communication, social, and school readiness skills for children on the autism spectrum.

You will follow individualized treatment plans, collect data, document progress, and collaborate with parents and caregivers. Reliability, professionalism, and patience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification or be willing to complete 40-hour training and sit for RBT competency within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group ABA therapy settings.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure timely and proper documentation.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers per BCBA/BC requirements.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in materials prep and assessments.
