Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional behavior technicians to provide ABA therapy in a 1:1 setting under BCBA supervision. Ensure safety and accurate data collection while supporting children's language, social, and school readiness skills.

Candidates must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification, CPR/First Aid, and pass a background check. Strong communication and reliability are essential, with a focus on professional conduct and patience.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to complete CPR/First Aid training if not already certified.
• Reliable transportation and, when required, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to undergo background check as part of employment process.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50lbs.
• Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct.
• Show patience and ability to maintain calm under challenging situations.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and keep accurate records.
• Comfortable using mobile devices to record data and run apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication; respect diverse cultures.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group ABA therapy under supervision.
• Follow treatment plans created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect and summarize data on client behavior.
• Train parents and caregivers per treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation and reports are accurate.
• Communicate progress to families as directed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Assist with materials and assessments as needed.
