Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional behavior technicians to provide ABA therapy in a 1:1 setting under the supervision of a BCBA. Candidates must hold and maintain RBT certification or be willing to complete the 40-hour training and pass the competency exam within 45 days.

Responsibilities include direct client care, data collection, parent training, timely documentation, and maintaining a safe, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain RBT certification per BACB.
• Willing to participate in background checks.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and insurance may be needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test if not in past year.
• Able to perform physical tasks (lift up to 50 lbs) and move as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy sessions.
• Follow treatment plans created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting.
