Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking exceptional Behavior Technicians to provide ABA therapy in a 1:1 setting under BCBA supervision. Candidates must have RBT certification or complete a 40-hour course and sit for eligibility within 45 days.

Responsibilities include direct client care, data collection, and caregiver training, in a supportive, child-centered environment. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be willing to obtain RBT certification within 45 days.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed protocols in client's treatment plan by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and per procedures.
• Communicate client progress with parents as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
