Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring entry-level Child Care Specialists (Behavior Technicians) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children ages 2 to 6 in a center setting. You will follow clinician-created care plans and document progress using a tablet. No RBT required initially; paid training helps earn the credential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within the first six weeks of employment.
• Reliable transportation to training location and local center, plus dependable attendance.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, and comfort using computers and tablets.
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, change positions quickly, spend extended time on the floor, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in a center setting.
• Follow individualized care plans created by clinicians in behavior analysis, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
• Observe and document each child's progress using a computer or tablet.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team and share updates that support high-quality care.
• Participate in training and career progression programs leading to raises and promotions.
