Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an entry-level Child Care Specialist (Behavior Technician) to provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy for children aged 2 to 6 at our Gilbert, AZ center. You will follow clinician-crafted care plans and document each child's progress on a tablet, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, consistent care.

The role includes paid training to obtain and maintain RBT certification, plus ongoing professional development and a clear career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, as verified by resume or BACB attestation for RBT eligibility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within six weeks of employment.
• Reliable transportation to training location and center, with dependable attendance.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, and comfort using computers and tablets.
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in a center setting.
• Follow care plans created by clinicians in ABA, speech, and occupational therapy.
• Observe and document each child's progress using a computer or tablet.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and share updates to support high-quality care.
• Soar provides paid training for RBT certification and ongoing professional development.
• Longer-term career paths may include related behavioral health roles.
