Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring entry-level Child Care Specialists (Behavior Technicians) to support children aged 2 to 6 with autism in a center-based ABA program. You will engage in play, follow clinician care plans, and document progress using a tablet.

We provide paid training, support for RBT certification, and a clear path for raises and advancement, along with medical benefits, paid time off, and a 30-hour minimum weekly schedule for full-time roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; BACB attestation for RBT certification.
• Ability to obtain/maintain RBT certification within the first six weeks.
• Reliable transportation to training location and center.
• Clear verbal and written communication; teamwork.
• Ability to sit/stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and be active on the floor.
• Experience with children is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in a center.
• Follow care plans created by clinicians in ABA, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
• Observe and document progress using a computer or tablet.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to support high-quality care.
• Soar provides paid training for RBT certification and promotes career progression every three months.
• Longer-term paths include behavior analysis, psychology, speech therapy, or related roles.
