Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician for our in-centre ABA program. The role involves one-to-one and group therapy, data collection, and collaboration with BCBA/BCs to implement treatment plans.

We offer full-time hours, PTO, tuition discounts, 401K, and practicum supervision hours. Candidate must have RBT certification and pass background checks, with at least a high school diploma and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current certification as an RBT.
• Willing to participate in background check.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• CV/verification to demonstrate ability to lift up to 50lbs and movement.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to complete TB testing annually.
• Able to operate mobile data entry and digital apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols from treatment plans built by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment and protocols.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and per procedures.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed.
• Report all critical incidents and safety concerns as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials, assessments, and skills acquisition.
