Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, part of Centria Healthcare, is hiring a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The role provides direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy in-center, following BCBA-directed plans.

Must maintain RBT certification, complete background checks, and meet basic education and physical requirements. Benefits include paid time off, a structured pay plan, tuition discounts, practicum supervision hours, and early wage access.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification issued by BACB.
• Willing to participate in background check process.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain TB test annually.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lift up to 50 lbs, frequent bending and standing).
• Strong attention to detail with repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and use mobile data entry apps.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings with intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols per client treatment plan created by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize observable client data.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work and therapy environments.
• Prepare client materials, assessments, and skills acquisition activities in collaboration with BCBA.
