Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is a center-based ABA therapy program for young children in Maryland. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide intensive, data-driven instruction in a 1:1 and small group setting.

The role requires RBT certification, a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in-center 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday. Training and supervision hours available; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB).
• Must be willing to participate in the company’s background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain TB test annually.
• Must be able to perform the job physically (lifting up to 50lbs, floor work, mobility).
• Strong attention to detail with ability to perform repetitive tasks precisely.
• Ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions.
• Strong comfort with technology to record data on a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavioral protocols as outlined in the client’s plan by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and per procedures.
• Communicate progress to parents and caregivers as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Report all critical incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials and assessments.
