Job summary

Centria Healthcare’s Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, provides center-based ABA therapy for young children. The RBT will deliver direct client care in 1:1 and small-group settings, following BCBA plans to teach skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

The position is full-time in-center, Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm, with a pay range of $18-$24 per hour. Benefits include PTO, 401K, tuition discounts, and a practicum program for BCBA supervision hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification issued by the BACB.
• Must be willing to participate in the company’s background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain a tuberculosis (TB) test annually.
• Must be physically able to perform job duties including getting down on the floor and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to do repetitive tasks precisely.
• Ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions.
• Strong understanding of technology to record data and navigate digital apps.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency with flexibility and open-mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavior protocols built by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and per procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents/caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Report safety concerns and incidents promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Assist with preparation of client materials and assessments.
