Life Skills Autism Academy in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The candidate will provide ABA therapy in 1:1 and group settings under BCBA supervision, collecting data and following individualized treatment plans.

Requires RBT certification or completion of the 45‑day pathway. Compensation ranges from $17 to $23 per hour, with strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Formación

• Must have a current RBT certification or be willing to complete the training and exam within 45 days.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform required physical tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Patience and cultural competency are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow protocols in the client's treatment plan built by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with the treatment plan.
• Ensure documentation is completed on time and per procedures.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
• Duties may include lifting up to 50lbs and quick movement for safety.
