Job summary

Opal Autism Centers is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our center-based program in Winston-Salem, NC. This full-time role involves implementing individualized treatment plans under supervision of a BCBA and engaging with families to support therapy goals.

You will collect data, work with children with autism, and participate in ongoing professional development within an ethical, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or BACB 40-hour training completion recognised by BACB
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year experience with children or individuals with special needs
• CPR certification prior to start date preferred
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA
• Collect data on client behaviors and progress
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning
• Communicate with families about progress and strategies
• Assist in developing educational materials and resources
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis
