Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is a center-based ABA Therapy program serving young children. The team delivers intensive one-on-one and group sessions to build communication, daily living skills, and social behaviors.

We seek a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct client care, implement treatment plans, collect data, and collaborate with BCBA/BC. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–4:30 pm in center.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification as issued by BACB.
• Willing to participate in background checks.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Willing to undergo TB testing annually.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform floor-to-standing transitions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow client treatment plans created by BCBA/BC and support skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training aligned with treatment plans.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation per established procedures.
• Communicate progress and concerns with parents and caregivers as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and supervision-related tasks.
