Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 and group ABA therapy for young children in a center-based setting in Tucson, AZ. You will implement BCBA/BC protocols, collect data, and support caregivers.

You must hold an RBT certification, have a high school or GED, pass a background check, and stay CPR/First Aid certified. Benefits include PTO, 401K, tuition discounts, and opportunities to grow in ABA.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification as issued by BACB.
• Must be willing to participate in the company’s background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to physically perform job duties (lift up to 50 lbs, bend, move quickly).
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain TB test annually.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow treatment plans created by BCBA/BC for skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior.
• Assist with parent/caregiver training per treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation and safety reporting.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC with materials and assessments.
