Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in North Berwick, ME is seeking a Cell Leader to drive continuous improvement in one or more business unit cells. You will apply CORE, LEAN and other methods to raise quality, throughput and delivery integrity across shifts.

Lead a multi-skilled team on jet engine components, ensure training and safety, and align goals with policy and operations. This role requires strong leadership and a hands-on approach in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in engineering, manufacturing operations, or continuous improvement.
• Associate’s degree with 7+ years in the same environment.
• High School diploma with 9+ years in engineering/manufacturing/continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a multi-skilled group manufacturing and repairing jet engine components.
• Ensure employees are trained and work safely.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and regular toolbox meetings.
• Bridge business objectives across three operating shifts.
• Support US government contracting and FAA policies.
• Set day-to-day goals and objectives for the team.
• Modify systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness.
• Flexibility for shift overlap and occasional off-shift work.
