Job summary

RTX is seeking a Cell Leader to guide one or more Production Cells at our US site. You will lead a multi-skilled team in the manufacture and repair of jet engine components, applying CORE and LEAN methods to improve quality, throughput, and delivery.

You will train staff, conduct performance reviews, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and align daily goals with business objectives across three shifts. On-site commitment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent with 5+ years in engineering/manufacturing/CI, or Associate degree with 7+ years.
• High School diploma with 9+ years experience if no degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of shop practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a multi-skilled group of team members engaged in the manufacture and repair of jet engine components.
• Ensure employees are adequately trained and work in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
• Execute business decisions fairly; conduct annual performance reviews; hold regular toolbox meetings; two-way communications; communicate goals and objectives.
• Able to bridge business objectives across 3 operating shifts.
• Support all legal obligations such as United States Government contracting and FAA policies and procedures.
• Sets day-to-day goals and objectives for team members.
• Responsible for making modifications in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of the work area.
• Have flexibility for shift overlap and occasional off shift work as needed.
