Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a Cell Leader to lead one or more manufacturing cells, applying CORE and LEAN to boost quality, throughput, and delivery. You will oversee a multi-skilled team in the manufacture and repair of jet engine components, ensure proper training, and maintain a safe, compliant workplace.

You will conduct performance reviews, lead toolbox talks, communicate goals clearly, and coordinate across three shifts. Some off-shift work and onsite presence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in engineering/related field with several years of manufacturing/continuous improvement experience.
• Experience leading teams in engineering/manufacturing environments and applying lean methods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and shop floor procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more manufacturing cells using CORE and LEAN to improve quality, throughput, and delivery.
• Supervise a multi-skilled team in manufacture/repair of jet engine components; ensure training and safety compliance.
• Conduct annual performance reviews, toolbox talks, and maintain clear two-way communications.
• Bridge business objectives across three operating shifts and coordinate with FAA/government contracting requirements.
• Set daily goals, modify processes to solve problems, and handle occasional off-shift work.
