Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) seeks a Certified Dietary Services Department Manager to lead the dining program at a long-term care site in Dayton, OH. This temporary, full-time role requires managing quality, safety, and customer service while adhering to regulations and HCSG policies.

You will supervise staff, maintain records, and coordinate with client managers. The position emphasizes food safety, staff training, and ensuring consistent dining excellence for residents.

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Culinary Arts preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) within 14 days of employment.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the dining service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment with HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions.
• Communicate directives from client managers and administrators to staff.
• Ensure safe handling, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
