Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will supervise the food service team, ensure quality and safety, and maintain records using company software.

The role requires CDM certification, an associate degree or higher in related fields, and strong communication skills. You may need to obtain required certifications within set timeframes. Residency in the service area is required.

Qualifikationen

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days of employment; FSM and LTC-FSM within 60 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional interaction with stakeholders.
• Residency within the service area required; compliance with vaccination policies.

Aufgaben

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
• Ensure safe handling of cleaning solutions, use protective gear, and report equipment needs promptly.
• Follow infection control, universal precautions, and handwashing procedures to maintain sanitation.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with staff, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
