Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will ensure high food quality, manage inventory, enforce food safety, and deliver exceptional resident service in line with menus and regulations.

The candidate must hold a CDM certification, possess an associate degree in food service management, and meet certification timelines.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management coursework preferred.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days; FSM and LTC-FSM within 60 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment; use HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training and in-service sessions; cover roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers to HCSG staff.
• Ensure safe handling of cleaning solutions and report equipment needs promptly.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain sanitation.
• Represent HCSG positively with staff, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
