Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining department at a long-term care facility. You will drive quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while managing inventory, staff, and compliance with menus and regulations.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree and experience supervising a food service team; CDM or equivalent certifications are preferred, with accelerated timelines to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, including coursework in food service/restaurant management.
• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
• CDM certification preferred (or as required by state and county law).
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days and FSM/LTC-FSM within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from clients and administrators to HCSG staff clearly.
• Ensure infection control and sanitary practices across operations.
