Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking Residential Rear Load Drivers to service customers with waste and recycling pickups on standard routes. Vehicles vary by route, and the role requires safe operation, route adherence, and professional customer service.

Shift is 5:00am - 7:00pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime and weekend hours. A valid Class B CDL, DOT Medical Card, and clean driving history are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Enter/exit the truck 300-500 times per day.
• Excellent truck driving and maneuvering skills.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely, hauling to disposal site.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 300-500 times daily.
• Maintain and update route and driver logs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
