Job summary

Rumpke is seeking a Residential Rear Load Driver to service waste and recycling on various routes. You will drive, load, and haul materials from customer sites, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Must have a Class B CDL and DOT medical card, with availability for nights and weekends on an as-needed basis. We offer competitive pay and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) matching plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Ability to enter/exit the truck 300-500 times daily.
• Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and efficiently.
• Enter/exit the truck 300-500 times per day on assigned routes.
• Move containers from enclosures or buildings as needed.
• Replace receptacles neatly at curb or designated area.
• Clean spills and maintain truck cleanliness and logs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Deliver containers as needed and assist on routes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
