Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking an Operator II to join a 2–4 person crew for heavy equipment operation and utility installation across residential, multifamily, and commercial sites in Colorado. A CDL A is required, and the role offers opportunities to work with front-end loaders, dozers, trenchers, and related equipment.

Responsibilities include safe operation, equipment inspection, reading prints, and adherence to DOT/reporting procedures.

Qualifications

• One (1+) plus years of backhoe/mini excavator operation.
• One (1+) plus years of digging around underground utilities.
• Two (2+) plus years in dry utilities preferred.
• Three (3+) plus years in construction.
• Must maintain valid CDL Class A.
• Experience reading basic prints and Underground Facility Location Sketch preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maneuvers, navigates, or drives vehicles or mechanized equipment.
• Inspects equipment, structures, or materials for defects.
• Communicates abnormal conditions and follows safety regulations.
• Performs mid-level labor tasks including hand digging and traffic control.
• Reads utility prints and maps and follows 811 digging laws.
• Maintains paperwork such as DVIR and driver's log book.
