Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure seeks an experienced Operator II to join a 2–4-person crew, performing heavy equipment operation for placing utilities to residential, multifamily, and commercial sites. CDL A is required, and safety is essential on all tasks.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, site excavation, and adherence to DOT and company safety standards. Travel up to 30% may be required, with non-exempt status and hourly pay in the $28–$32 range.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of backhoe/mini excavator operation required.
• 1+ year digging around underground utilities required.
• 2+ years of dry utilities preferred.
• 3+ years of construction experience required.
• Class A CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maneuver, and drive heavy equipment on construction sites.
• Inspect equipment and identify defects or safety issues.
• Follow laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
