Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking Front-End Drivers in Wisconsin to operate front-end trucks, servicing multi-family and commercial routes. You will collect waste or recyclables, transport to post-collection facilities, and perform safety inspections.

The role requires a valid CDL and at least 1 year of truck driving experience, with a focus on safety and customer service. Benefits include PTO, health/dental/vision, HSA with employer match, parental leave, 401(k) with company match, and more.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one (1) year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet safety-sensitive functions criteria per company standards.
• Must be able to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect waste and transport to post-collection facilities.
• Open container enclosures or gates to access cans and dump into designated areas.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition report at shift end.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; notify supervisor of issues.
• Maintain cleanliness around truck and work site; address spills during dumping.
