Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Swing Driver to operate Front End, Roll Off, Residential and other trucks on service routes, delivering solid waste and recyclables to landfills, MRFs or transfer stations. You may fill in on various routes as needed to ensure consistent service.

Pay is $27/hour. The role requires a valid CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant driving experience, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to safely operate large trucks and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more vehicle types on collection routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Report mechanical issues immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety gear.
• Interact professionally with customers during routes.
• Assist with training other drivers as needed.
