Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking Front-End Drivers to operate front-end trucks delivering waste collection services along multi-family residential and commercial routes in Michigan.

You will service multiple customers daily, transfer waste to post-collection facilities, and ensure safety and compliance on all duties. The role requires a valid CDL or CDL school certificate, at least one year of commercial driving experience, and a strong adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid CDL.
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety sensitive criteria according to Company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect waste or recyclables.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and/or the public along the route.
• Maintain and submit logbooks and route Productivity sheets as required.
• Use GPS/maps to locate service addresses and follow safety procedures.
