Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to operate front-end trucks across multi-family and commercial routes in Texas. You will remove waste or recyclables, service multiple customers daily, and ensure proper transfer to transfer stations or landfills.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least 1 year of commercial truck driving experience (or CDL school certificate), and the ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain route logs.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required.
• Minimum 1 year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive function criteria.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end trucks along designated routes to collect solid waste and recyclables.
• Open container enclosures and position cans for dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and report issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness around the truck and dumping area.
• Log route activity and vehicle condition as required by policy.
• Back up with mirrors, using a GPS/map to locate service addresses.
• Follow safety procedures and lose debris monitoring during dumping.
• Complete additional job duties as assigned.
