Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front‑End Driver to operate front‑end trucks and service multiple commercial and multi‑family routes.

You will collect waste or recyclables, transport materials to disposal or transfer locations, and maintain paperwork for each route. The role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of driving experience (or a CDL school certificate), and the ability to perform pre/post‑trip inspections while interacting professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one (1) year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet safety sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Must be able to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front‑end or ancillary trucks along designated routes to collect waste or recyclables.
• Open containers and access points; dump materials at post‑collection facilities.
• Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and submit vehicle reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; report issues to supervision.
• Maintain logs, route/productivity sheets, and vehicle condition reports as required.
