Job summary

GFL in Wisconsin seeks a Swing Driver to safely operate Front End, Roll Off, Residential and other trucks on diverse collection routes. You will deliver collected waste to landfills, MRFs or transfer stations and may fill in on different routes as needed to ensure reliable service.

The role requires a valid CDL, up to one year of driving experience, and a strong commitment to safety. The position involves on-site work with potential supervision of a helper and adherence to all safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must have a valid CDL.
• Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely operate the truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more vehicle types on collection routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documentations.
• Report mechanical issues immediately.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain clean vehicle and manage helpers if applicable.
• Complete route observations and report findings.
