Stevens Transport, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver Recruiting Support Specialist in Dallas to serve as the first point of contact for potential CDL driver candidates.

You will take and make calls to warm leads, screen qualifications, and provide essential information about our company and opportunities. This role focuses on creating a positive first impression, guiding candidates through the recruitment process, and helping grow Stevens Transport's driver force.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with ATS, recruitment software, and related tools.
• Strong computer abilities and typing skills in Windows (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to handle high volumes of inbound/outbound calls and emails.
• Fast-paced environment tolerance with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• Knowledge of CDL requirements and FMCSA regulations is a plus.
• Experience in CDL driver recruitment or logistics recruitment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation: contact candidates via phone, email, and other methods to assess interest and qualifications.
• Review applications for completeness and minimum qualifications; verify information in driving records and employment history.
• Conduct initial pre-screening interviews and evaluate DOT, criminal and employment records.
• Maintain an organized database of driver applicants and track recruitment metrics.
• Collaborate with CDL Driver Recruiters to identify suitable candidates and support interviews.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies; schedule interviews.
• Generate recruitment-related reports and stay updated on industry best practices.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with current and potential CDL drivers.
