Job summary

Stevens Transport is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented CDL Driver Recruiting Support Specialist to connect with prospective truck drivers, screen applicants, and support the driver recruiting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, making calls, and helping candidates navigate the initial stages of the recruiting process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, customer service, and telephone skills.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred; Tenstreet ATS knowledge is a plus; CDL/FMCSA knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact prospective CDL drivers through warm leads, outbound calls, email, and referrals.
• Explain driving opportunities and generate interest in joining Stevens Transport.
• Screen applicants to determine qualifications and eligibility.
• Review applications, driving records, employment history, and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and update applicant tracking systems.
• Schedule and confirm interviews with Driver Recruiters.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the early recruiting process.
• Partner with recruiters to identify qualified candidates and support hiring goals.
• Prepare recruiting reports and ensure compliance with applicable DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policies.
