Job summary

OATS Transit, a Missouri-based non-profit transportation provider, is hiring drivers for mini-vans, Ford Transits, and wide-body buses to serve seniors and individuals with disabilities. The role emphasizes safety, courtesy, and reliable service.

As a driver, you will conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, use a tablet for trip updates, and complete paperwork timely. Must meet DOT and drug-testing requirements and be bondable. Physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds is involved.

Qualifications

• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• CDL/Class E license with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must pass drug screening and random testing.
• Must be bondable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus with safety and courtesy.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices as required.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Use in-vehicle tablet to receive trip information and verify pick-up/drop-off times.
• Complete required paperwork promptly and submit to regional office.
