FedEx Freight is seeking an experienced driver development coordinator instructor to cultivate CDL-qualified drivers, manage training curricula, and support operations leadership. You will conduct road tests, ensure safety, and drive enrollment in programs.

The role emphasizes classroom and field instruction, coordination of schedules, and collaboration with service centers to advance driver talent across the facility.

Formación

• Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• Two years’ verifiable experience in operating a Class A CMV within the last three years.
• Must have acceptable MVR according to hiring standards.
• DOT regulatory requirements under 391 FMC regulations must be met.
• Ability to count, perform basic math and communicate effectively.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 pounds repeatedly.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples and straight trucks.
• Perform pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Secure freight inside trailers with pallets, straps and rope.
• Coordinate class schedules and drive times, secure equipment and supplies.
• Lead and certify driver development instructors for consistency.
• Conduct road tests and promote safe driving guidelines.
