FedEx Freight in Springfield, MO is seeking a driver development coordinator role focused on turning pre-qualified employees into CDL drivers while improving morale and advancement opportunities. You will instruct, supervise, and coordinate training with operations leadership.

Primary duties include campus instruction, field evaluations, and collaboration with dispatch. Must hold a class A CDL with required endorsements and have CMV experience; expect safety focus and strong customer service.

Formación

• Must possess a class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat, and tank endorsements.
• Two years' verifiable CMV experience within the previous three years.
• Must possess acceptable MVR based on hiring standards.
• Meet all DOT regulatory requirements under FMC 391.
• LCV operation experience for specified states is required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples where applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment daily.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies; secure freight inside trailers.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding pick-up/delivery needs.
• Lead instructor duties and help educate driver development participants.
• Maintain documentation and reports; comply with hazardous materials regulations.
