Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a CDL Driver Trainer to oversee all driver training functions at the assigned location. The role requires longevity in the field, strong communication, and leadership abilities for over‑the‑road, range, and classroom instruction.

Supervisors include the Program Director or Lead Driver Trainer. You will promote a positive learning environment, deliver hands-on training, assess student progress, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Experience delivering driver training and classroom instruction.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to engage adult learners.
• Proficient with standard office software and cloud-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead driver training at assigned location and ensure class sessions start/end on time.
• Create and maintain a positive learning environment for all students.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and driving skill demonstrations.
• Administer written tests and evaluate student progress.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, safety regulations, and accreditation requirements.
